Not your typical couple, not your typical wedding! We were contacted by sweet Brooke about capturing their small elopement with their little daughter in Staunton at Ben's sister's farm on Middlebrook Road, and of course we couldn't say no! Nobody was at this wedding except Pastor Chuck, these three cuties, and us taking photos and video...and it was the best wedding EVER. Intimate. Raw. Real. We could feel our Lord's presence right in the dairy barn where they said their vow. Yes, you heard me...a dairy barn! Don't get me wrong, big weddings are awesome...fun, the best day ever, unforgettable...but this couple wanted it to be "authentic" for them and low-key. Needless to say, I have a new love for intimate elopements!
My favorite part of their whole wedding was when they said their vows to each other. Not only did they say them to each other, but Brooke said her vows to their daughter. I can't believe you couldn't hear me sobbing through my mask in the background of the video! The love of these three is built on a. foundation of love in Christ and we were so thankful to witness it. One of my favorite quotes from their ceremony was when Pastor Chuck prayed over the three and talked about how much this union would change Cassie's life for the better and create a unit. My heart just exploded.
