Restoration Reveal!

We had the opportunity of photographing this exquisite restoration by the amazing Tom Redifer at Precision Remodeling this past week. This is his most recent project, and we felt honored to capture it with our lens.

This home started with an old farmhouse surrounding by tons of small outbuildings that were near falling down. Overgrown trees, bushes, peeling siding, old roof, and just needed some love. The owners of this home never thought that this dream would be theirs, and now they are living in it! The part of the home that was retained was the sticks and bones, gorgeous hardwoods, the staircase, and the original stone foundation. They added a tasteful edition, and many new details.

Her husband purchased it straight out of highschool. They always dreamed of fixing it up and that being their "forever house" but many events happened that made them think that it was a dream way in the future... nursing school, TWINS, and many other things that typically would stop people from doing a major restoration...but Tom made it a possibility and brought their dreams into reality. Her main request was that the kitchen sink have windows overlooking the views and the tree swing up the hill and he even did that!
