Hebron Valley Homeplace!

On the daily, we get to see homes that always have a story. Maybe they have lived there for 40 years and are downsizing, maybe their work is moving them, maybe they need something bigger for a growing family, maybe they are selling all they have and living in a camper for a year to travel to the West coast. This home had a story of its own.
Carolyn Book, realtor for Long and Foster, invited us out to photograph this home because it is for sale, but also because it is her "homeplace." She moved here when she was in high school and her parents have lived there ever since.
Her father was originally a "stripper" of all things, metal, wood, anything! His business was even called "The Happy Stripper!" After they bought this home, he set out on a duty to strip all the original woodwork and bring it back to its glory. If it needed to be fixed or replaced, he did that too! He is an INCREDIBLE woodworker! The wood shop shows it! He also built all the bathroom vanities from walnut.
Other amazing parts of this property are the SUNSETS! The one we caught was jaw dropping. Definitely a place to get married one day! Every last detail was caught in this home (even the roof on the doghouse matches the roof of the house!). It was so much fun exploring this gorgeous property, and din't feel like work...especially when you get to play with an 8 month old hound dog pup and a black lab! This home is special and one full of memories. But one that will be a perfect place to make new memories. These are the types of places you can call "home."
Check out the full listing HERE, and if you are interested in seeing it, contact Carolyn Book for a private showing. You won't regret it!
